McLaren is set to debut its innovative rotating rear wing, officially named the H-wing, at this weekend's Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at Monza. "This weekend, we have brought what we believe is needed to be competitive, including a new low-drag rear wing specification, including the first use of our H-wing, alongside some small aerodynamic and low-drag options," said McLaren technical director Neil Houldey. The team previously tested a prototype in Hungary and views Monza's high-speed straights as the ideal proving ground.
