In an unexpected shift in strategy, Hyundai has decided to discontinue the standard Ioniq 6 in the United States, leaving the aggressive N variant as the sole survivor. Although the regular electric streamliner won praise for its exceptional driving range and fast-charging architecture, shifting market availability ultimately cut its US run short.
The new Ioniq 6 N promises to fill that void with an impressive dual-motor setup powered by an 84.0-kWh battery pack. Drivers can expect up to 601 horsepower under normal conditions, climbing to 641 horsepower in short bursts when engaging the dedicated boost mode.
