Swedish automaker Polestar has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the new SUV. The model introduces a traditional rear window and a silhouette to improve overall practicality.

Performance and Architecture Specs

The new utilizes the same SEA architecture and a 100 kWh battery pack as the coupe version. Buyers can choose between a single-motor variant producing 272 horsepower and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version delivering 544 horsepower.

Range estimates reach up to 392 miles for the single-motor configuration under WLTP testing standards. A performance package adds ZF active dampers, Brembo brakes, and 22-inch wheels equipped with Pirelli tires.

Joakim Rydholm, head of driving dynamics at , stated, "It delivers the confidence, precision and driving engagement that customers expect, in all driving conditions." Engineers spent considerable time refining the chassis tuning and steering response.

Practical Features and Technology

Vehicle-to-Load functionality arrives across all models to deliver up to 3.3 kW of power through an external adapter. A new camping mode adjusts interior lighting and climate control systems for overnight stays.

Rear seat headroom increases by an inch compared to the windowless model while cargo capacity expands to 23 cubic feet. The addition of a rear window also brings a standard rear-view mirror and a small windscreen wiper.

Pricing and Global Availability

Production for all models takes place in Busan, South Korea. Single-motor variants start at 57,900 euros, dual-motor versions begin at 65,900 euros, and the performance package costs 76,300 euros.

Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin later this year across international markets. U.S. enthusiasts will miss out entirely due to upcoming sales restrictions on the brand starting in 2027.
