Pricing and Variant Options
The new SUV is available in eight distinct variants for buyers across the domestic market. Prices range from 229,900 yuan to 279,900 yuan.
Customers can select between pure battery-electric and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. Both versions come equipped with advanced driving assistance features.
Interior and Design Features
The Sealion 08 adopts styling inspired by BYD's Ocean S concept car. Its exterior features split headlights and a roof-mounted lidar sensor.
Inside, the cabin utilizes the Ocean Aesthetics 2.0 design language. The layout includes a light beige color scheme and a floating central touchscreen.
Powertrain and Battery Tech
Plug-in hybrid variants combine a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with advanced electric motors. These models offer a combined range of up to 1,650 km.
Battery-electric variants provide single or dual motor setups with capacities up to 115.072 kWh. All versions feature BYD's second-generation Blade battery.
