Ram Recalls 1.27 Million Pickups Over Seat Belt Anchors

Recall Details and Affected Models
The Recall affects trucks from the 2019 through 2026 model years. Faulty seat belt anchors can reduce Safety performance during certain crash scenarios.
Stellantis confirmed one potentially related injury tied to the defect. No fatalities have been reported by the automaker so far.
The massive Recall also expands beyond America. It includes international markets, bringing the total global Recall to over 1.5 million Trucks.
Free Inspection and Dealer Services
Affected owners will receive notification letters from parent company Stellantis. Owners must contact local dealerships to schedule an inspection appointment.
Dealers will inspect the second-row center and driver-side seat belt anchors. Technicians will properly attach the components to the vehicle structure free of charge.
Previous Recalls in 2026
This Safety action follows another recent Recall issued earlier this year. The truckmaker previously recalled roughly 12,000 units of its 2500-series Heavy Duty pickups.
That prior issue involved incorrect vehicle speed calibration systems. Stellantis resolved the problem by reprogramming the powertrain control modules.
