Aston Martin Unveils Virtual Call of Duty War Machine
Aston Martin has partnered with Activision to design the Dreadnought, a high-performance virtual military vehicle for Call of Duty.

Luxury Meets Virtual Battlefield Armour
The British brand collaborated with Infinity Ward and Activision to build the virtual vehicle. Gamers will be able to drive the all-wheel-drive truck in the upcoming game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The designers paired a powerful V12 engine with advanced combat armor.
Aston Martin designers added luxury features despite the vehicle's military purpose. The virtual interior boasts an Oxford Tan leather dashboard and carbon fiber paneling. The design takes its name from a famous early 20th-century British battleship.
Authentic Brand Identity in Gaming
Marek Reichman, the chief creative officer at Aston Martin, said the vehicle represents their brand without restraint. "The quality of the details we have been able to include underscores our dedication to delivering a truly authentic Aston Martin experience," he said. The truck even features the brand's iconic Chiltern Green paint color.
The digital machine also features anodized satin gold door hinges alongside its tactical gear. It includes extra reserve fuel tanks and bespoke weapons storage. Designers made sure the virtual engineering mirrored real-world luxury standards.
Targeting Next Generation of Buyers
Aston Martin is using the partnership to connect with younger consumers. Stefano Saporetti, director of brand diversification, said the project is a strategic gateway for a global audience. The company hopes the virtual model will make the brand's luxury identity resonate with future buyers.
Other major car manufacturers are also securing defense and military contracts in the real world. However, Aston Martin is choosing a unique path by focusing its military efforts on gaming. The move signals a growing interest in digital brand integration.
