Battery Upgrade Details
The upcoming Zeekr 7X will adopt an 85 kWh LFP battery known as the Aegis Golden Brick. Geely developed this pack using short blade cells for improved safety and thermal management.
These Golden Brick batteries boast a lifespan of 1,000,000 km of range and 3,500 charging cycles. They provide robust protection against thermal runaway during heavy usage.
Market Competitiveness
The current entry-level Zeekr 7X uses a 75 kWh LFP battery that delivers a CLTC range of 620 km. This configuration powers a rear electric motor producing 370 kW.
The new 85 kWh variant aims to narrow the gap between standard and long-range versions. Industry observers expect a CLTC range exceeding 700 km for this upcoming model.
Launch And Pricing
The refreshed Zeekr 7X will enter the domestic market in the fourth quarter of 2026. Early buyers will temporarily receive free purchase options like a power rear sofa and a built-in fridge.
Domestic prices for the current lineup range from 229,800 to 269,800 yuan. The brand aims to challenge competitors like the Li Auto i6 SUV with these updates.
