Italian automaker recently unveiled the Revuelto SV with an astonishing 1050 horsepower. Engineers faced major thermal management hurdles to keep the high- V-12 stable during testing.

Conquering Severe Cooling Obstacles

Early prototypes of the supercar suffered from overheating issues during high-speed testing. The cooling system failed to dissipate heat efficiently, forcing the vehicle into power-cutting de-rating modes.

Product line director Alessandro Farmerschi explained the complexity of reworking the aerodynamics. Engineers had to alter radiator positions and redesign fenders to restore proper airflow balance.

The baseline Revuelto platform offered very little room for physical modifications. Maintaining structural stability while optimizing airflow required precise coordination across all teams.

Ensuring Consistent Track Performance

Delivering repeatable remains a top priority for buyers. The brand subjected the new flagship model to extreme testing in both freezing cold and scorching heat.

Advanced thermal dissipation extends directly to the new CCM-R Plus braking system. Brembo-derived carbon rotors provide stable friction without requiring any preliminary bed-in procedures.

Advanced Dynamic Control Systems

The vehicle adopts cutting-edge stability tech from the Urus Performante SE sibling. A specialized 6D sensor uses a three-axis accelerometer to measure precise pitch, roll, and yaw movements.

This sensor pairs with a new Pilota drive mode and a five-stage traction system. These integrated controls create the sharpest V-12 supercar ever produced in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
