Championship leader Alex Palou also hit the wall during the second round of qualifying. The mistake forced him into a rare starting position further down the grid.
Louis Foster Claims Pole Position
Louis Foster maintained consistent speed from earlier practice sessions into qualifying. He posted a record lap time of 1:13.2383 to secure the pole.
The young driver achieved the top spot while saving fresh red tires for Sunday's race. His strategic tire management gave his team a distinct advantage for race day.
Grid Shakeup for Sunday Race
Christian Lundgaard secured a front-row start alongside pole-sitter Louis Foster. Scott McLaughlin and Marcus Ericsson filled out the second row of the grid.
Rookie Dennis Hauger achieved his career-best starting position in fifth place. Rinus VeeKay will line up right beside the young rookie.
