Battery Capacity and Range
The Denza N8 comes equipped with either a 130.15 kWh or a 105.792 kWh battery pack. These advanced options deliver pure electric range figures of 1,003 km, 970 km, 840 km, and 800 km.
Meanwhile, the larger Denza N8L utilizes the 130.15 kWh LFP battery pack. This setup delivers a CLTC pure electric range of 960 km.
The pure electric range of the new BEV model now matches the hybrid performance of older generations. BYD continues to push the boundaries of energy density in modern Electric Vehicles.
Design and Power Options
The new models retain the distinct design language of the current generation. The rear of the vehicle features parallel slim taillights alongside a prominent Denza logo.
Power options include a rear-wheel-drive single-motor version with power outputs of 320 kW and 370 kW. Buyers can also select a powerful triple-motor four-wheel-drive configuration.
The triple-motor setup combines one front motor and two rear motors. This configuration produces a total combined power output of 890 kW.
Market Growth and Context
The Denza N8 originally launched in 2023 with a maximum battery capacity of 108.8 kWh. The plug-in hybrid version offered a combined range of 1,030 km at that time.
