Lamborghini debuted the stunning Temerario Tricolore special edition at Monterey Car Week, bringing a powerful tribute to Italian heritage that nearly slipped past automotive enthusiasts overshadowed by the mighty Revuelto SV. Sitting quietly next to its 1,065-horsepower sibling at The Quail, the new creation shifted focus entirely from raw track numbers to bespoke styling and national pride.
The exclusive model marks the first time Automobili Lamborghini has used the Tricolore moniker since the iconic Gallardo LP 550-2 Tricolore rolled out back in 2011. Centro Stile designed the vehicle to bridge past traditions with a modern era of super sports cars, showcasing the limitless possibilities offered by the Ad Personam customization program.

Visually, the one-off supercar features a striking two-tone exterior layout with Blu Marinus Shiny dark blue on the lower body and Bianco Monocerus stark white on top. A distinctive green, white, and red stripe runs proudly down the center of the front end, complemented by Glossy Nero Noctis black accents and vibrant Rosso red brake calipers.
Future Variants and Hybrid Successor
Inside the cabin, designers opted for an understated yet aggressive aesthetic defined by Nero Ade black upholstery contrasted with Rosso Alala red stitching. Subtle nods to the car's identity include a silhouette of the vehicle on the rear trim alongside embroidered Tricolore branding across the door panels.
Mechanically, the bespoke machine retains the standard powertrain featuring a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 paired with three electric motors generating a combined 907 horsepower. This enables the hybrid supercar to sprint to 62 miles per hour in just 2.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 211 mph.
The Temerario serves as the rightful successor to the legendary Huracan, swapping out the iconic naturally aspirated V10 for a high-tech plug-in hybrid architecture. This forward-looking system utilizes a 3.8 kilowatt-hour battery pack to blend electrifying efficiency with traditional Italian supercar performance.
While special customization projects like the Tricolore might not instantly grab headlines the way heavy-hitting track variants do, they serve a vital purpose for elite buyers. They act as a living showcase for what is achievable when collectors collaborate directly with the factory personalization division.
