Lando Norris has officially recommitted his future to McLaren by signing a massive contract extension that will keep him with the British constructor through 2030. Having been a cornerstone of the team since joining their junior program in 2017 and stepping up as a race driver in 2019, Norris continues his historic tenure.

"McLaren is my home, and I am very pleased to be signing a new contract to keep me with the team until at least 2030," said Norris following the announcement ahead of the race weekend in Monza.

Norris has cemented his legacy by racing in 163 grands prix for McLaren, setting a record as the driver with the most starts in team history while capturing 13 race victories alongside his world championship crown.

As an added bonus under the agreement, Norris will be gifted an MCL39, the iconic car that propelled him to capture his world championship title in 2025.

McLaren Team Principal Andrea Stella praised the driver's exceptional loyalty and talent as the team looks forward to maintaining dominance at the front of the Formula 1 grid.

"Lando has been an integral part of McLaren's journey and success over the last nine years, and we are delighted to continue our partnership with him through to at least 2030," said Stella.

Pairing Norris alongside teammate Oscar Piastri ensures that the Woking-based squad maintains one of the most stable, competitive, and unified driver lineups in the entire paddock.

Norris" commitment follows similar long-term extensions secured by rival front-runners across the grid, signaling an era of stability among top Formula 1 teams.
