The recall affects 45m, 50m, and 60m ropes in lollipop and bubblegum colors. It also includes any Kalimba ropes spliced under Courant protocols before June 15.
Federal regulators state that the spliced termination ends can fail unexpectedly. This failure creates a serious risk of injury or death from falls.

Arborists and tree care professionals commonly use these specialized ropes for climbing and pruning. Retailers across the nation sold the products between January 2023 and June of this year.
The company has received three reports of splices failing during use. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with the defective ropes so far.
