Hybrid And Plug-In Power Options
Underneath the hood, buyers can choose from a robust suite of electrified options, including two mild-hybrid units designated as the C 250 and the C 300.
"These mild-hybrid variants utilize a responsive 2.0-litre petrol engine delivering power outputs of 218PS and 258PS respectively, aided by a small electric motor that provides extra low-end shove and engine-off coasting capabilities," industry analysts note.
For drivers seeking greater electric autonomy, the C 300e plug-in hybrid pairs the core 2.0-litre petrol engine with a punchy electric motor and a 19.5kWh battery pack, generating a combined 326PS and an impressive electric driving range of up to 67 miles.
Offered across four distinct trim levels comprising Urban Edition, AMG Line Premium, AMG Line Premium Plus, and Premier Edition, the refreshed C-Class range also includes practical estate variants starting from £48,745.
