Fleet News launches Sustainability Week to guide companies toward greener fleet management

Fleet News is set to throw the spotlight on how corporate fleets can become more sustainable as part of a comprehensive week-long series of events scheduled for September.

Sustainability Week will feature critical insight and thought leadership published daily on the Fleet News website from September 14 to 18.

The initiative will also host an informative webinar discussing sustainability best practices with senior executives from the event's prominent supporters on Tuesday, September 15.

This industry-focused week receives major support from leading automotive and leasing entities including Toyota and Lexus, Lex Autolease, and Arval.

Expert Guidance For Sustainable Fleet Operations

Fleet News group editor Stephen Briers stated that Sustainability Week will take a broad look at corporate sustainability from environmental, social, and governance perspectives.

"The week will provide advice and guidance to help fleet decision-makers run their operations in a way that minimises negative impacts on the environment, supports the well-being of drivers, and benefits the company economically," Briers explained.

Operational benefits are expected to be achieved through adopting cleaner alternative-fuel vehicles, improving overall fleet efficiency, and implementing responsible industry practices.

Industry professionals and fleet decision-makers can follow the daily run-through of scheduled content and sign up for the upcoming interactive webinar to join the broader conversation.
