Mercedes-AMG GT53 enters the market as a more accessible entry-level choice within the brand's evolving electric performance portfolio. Following in the footsteps of its high-powered stablemates, this new variant prioritizes efficiency and extended driving range without completely abandoning the emotional theater expected from an AMG badge.
Driven by a dual-motor configuration, the vehicle delivers 536 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, propelling it from zero to 60 miles per hour in a brisk 3.8 seconds. Power is drawn from a 106kWh cylindrical cell battery pack designed to maximize everyday usability, pushing an impressive claimed WLTP range of up to 503 miles.

Chassis Adjustments and Market Value Position
This system pairs with simulated gear changes operated via steering wheel paddles to replicate the tactile feeling of a traditional transmission under heavy acceleration.
On the engineering front, the GT53 forgoes some of the complex hydraulic damping systems found on senior models, opting instead for adaptive air springs and conventional anti-roll bars.
Drivers can still cycle through multiple configurations via the Dynamic Select system, adjusting throttle response and ride stiffness to suit various driving environments.
Active aerodynamic components, including a standard deployable rear wing, work behind the scenes to optimize high-speed stability and reduce energy consumption.
