The newly expanded service bulletin reveals that the problem reaches beyond earlier reports, now heavily impacting the 2024-2026 Chevrolet Traverse, 2024-2026 GMC Acadia, and 2025-2026 Buick Enclave equipped with the 8-speed 8T65 automatic transmission. When the sensor delivers bogus data, the transmission control module panics and refuses to shift past first gear, causing the engine to rev loudly at high speeds.
