The new film transports audiences back to the 1960s, utilizing vintage racing machinery and more than 300 extras dressed in period-accurate clothing to recreate the atmosphere of the era.

While the production has captured the visual flair of vintage motorsport, sharp-eyed racing enthusiasts have already pointed out historical inaccuracies with some of the featured vehicles on track.

Hollywood Film Piques Fan Curiosity and Nostalgia

Footage shared from the set reveals cars driving backward around parts of the layout, a detail that could raise eyebrows among dedicated purists unless justified by the script.

Directed and written by Bradley Cooper, the star-studded cast features Margot Robbie, Wagner Moura, Monica Barbaro, Vicky Krieps, George MacKay, and Omar Sy alongside Cooper himself.

This project follows a long history of cinematic crossovers for Formula 1, most notably when Jaguar raced with diamond-nosed cars at Monaco in 2004 to promote Ocean's 12.

The untitled Ocean's Eleven prequel is scheduled to hit theaters on June 25, 2027, adding to a growing wave of major motorsport-themed films currently in development.
